Configure Windows 10 with 802.1X
How to configure the wireless adapter:
- Right-click on the Wireless Network Connection icon in the Taskbar (bottom right on the desktop). Select Open Network and Sharing Center.
- You can also find your network connections in: Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center.
- In the window that appears, select Set up a new connection or network.
- Select Manually connect to a wireless network, then click Next.
- Enter information for the wireless network you want to add:
- Network name: NUNM-Student
- Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise
- Click Next.
- Click Change connection settings.
- Click the Security tab, then Settings.
- Uncheck Verify the server's identity by validating the certificate.
- Under Select Authentication Method, click Configure.
- Make sure the Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any) is unchecked.
- Click OK.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Check the Specify Authentication Mode box.
- Select User authentication (if this doesn’t work, try User or computer authentication).
- Click OK.
- In the next window, click OK again. You are now set up to automatically connect to 'NUNM-Student'
TO LOG IN:
- Click on the Wireless icon in the taskbar (bottom right on the Desktop).
- Choose 'NUNM-Student' and click Connect.
- Enter your student username (FirstName.LastName) and password.
- Click OK.
