Configure Windows 11 with 802.1X


How to configure the wireless adapter:

  1. In the search on the Windows taskbar, type in Control Panel and open the Control Panel.
  2. Click Network and Sharing Center. (If your view is by Category, click Network and Internet and then Network and Sharing Center)
  3. In the window that appears, select Set up a new connection or network.
  4. Select Manually connect to a wireless network, then click Next.
  5. Enter information for the wireless network you want to add:
    • Network name: NUNM-Student 
    • Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Change connection settings.
  8. Click the Security tab, then Settings.
  9. Uncheck Verify the server's identity by validating the certificate.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Select Advanced Settings.
  12. Check the Specify Authentication Mode box.
  13. Select User authentication.
  14. Click Save credentials
    • Username: firstname.lastname
    • Password is your student email password.
  15. Click OK a few times to close the windows.
